Travelling light

So took a trip back to London this week to celebrate a little bit with my papa for his birthday. I absolutely hate travelling with too much luggage unless its necessary.  I’m known for going around with a very large bag usually because I just feel odd without one and small bags are so foreign to me. Obviously as it goes for travelling you have to be comfortable right. So when I saw this bag in a vintage shop in Amsterdam I just fell in love. For only 10 euros it was an absolute bargain and I knew I would get some good usage out of it. It’s got so many compartments and is proper spacious as well.

Two pieces and jumpsuits make me happy. These come as separate pieces but tucked it look just like a jumpsuit. I love the fact that you can mix and match the sizes (for those more top or bottom heavy I’m sure you can understand the struggle with one-pieces and jumpsuits). you can wear each part separately which helps to have a wider wardrobe with less pieces. In this weather layering is beyond necessary and it helps for if and when you get flustered running about for trains buses and tubes. Flat shoes go without saying when travelling. I love these patent ones (featured before) because they aren’t too flat but comfortable and flexible.

Hope you likey.

Camouflage - One with nature

Upset because I couldn't sit on the tree too much MOULD!
I wasn't hugging the pillar I almost fell loool - good back view anyway.
Chow Chow dog (I believe) - I made him poop guys oo

So not that I was actually wearing camouflage but guys like I was just blending in with nature, the clothes, the bag, my hair ha. So it was one of those impromptu days and honestly it was so fun. So like I love animals and that but even I didn’t expect to see so many random animals that day. The owl right photos just don’t do its eyes or it’s size justice. So yeah that’s why there’s so many photos and the dog! So big and It’s fur was exactly like a teddy I had (and still have somewhere) when I was younger. Honestly had to have a moment and reminisce.

So had a day in Leamington Spa, it was so nice up there like you know sometimes branch out and away from places you know.  Food galore mmmm, simple burger on a cold day is just happiness in a bun. I managed to take some photos too but honestly finding good lighting these days is so hard! Cue an upgrade to my camera I guess. I was also inspired – thanks to Sam & Sarah – to extend my blog so look out for that y’all.

The jumpsuit is probably so common right now and usually I like to leave a trend or item to die down before I get my own but this colour is just mmmmmm (khaki but looks grey here) I’m just loving it and obviously you can’t go wrong with a jumpsuit so it’s a win win really and the price absolute bargain (I need a black one ASAP). In a size 6 I’m surprised I could still move around, it has like a saggy crotch hope that’s the piece and not me but apart from that I love it.

P.S. blame it on the bum or not the buttons come undone sometimes, so yeah be careful not to do a Marilyn Monroe.

Hope you likey.

Gothic touches

My face is like bish whet

So as soon as I posted last week talking about autumns late arrival like oh my gosh the next I was walking around with a coat on. Honestly I can’t say I’m upset about it all but hey man what a change. So this piece right, I found it at work well I say I found it but technically I saw it on display and thought hey I want one; so yeah long story short they brought them back and obviously I had to get one. Everyone grabbed one. IT’S JUST SO NICE! As you can see it’s not as fitted as a lot of my other pieces but it does fit quite well, it’s a really nice thick texture that does hug the body but not like a typical body-con piece would. As soon as I saw it I thought of how good it would look with some thigh high boots but seeing as I haven’t found a pair just yet I thought I would pair them with my heeled ankle boots to bring the whole outfit together.

Chunky necklace for the high neckline and you know how I love my hats so I thought why not; I was feeling so gothic today as you can see black lipstick and all but yeah lool threw my duster coat on to look a bit more put together and yeah.

 Hope you likely

Dusting off autumn

Yaaaas. Well not really because I still don’t feel like it’s autumn let alone winter and I’m just here like I’m ready to layer! Anyway one piece that I’ve managed to ‘debut’ my duster coat. It’s such a lovely piece to have for someone like me because its quite light but adds that element of autumn readiness. So basically I get to layer without it being to heavy/warm.

Keeping it simple I wore my boyfriend t-shirt tied up sort of like a make shift crop top– it’s been one of my like go to looks and can pretty much be done with any top. I’ve had a random preference for crew necks recently too but yeah. And my joni jeans in this acid grey help keep the outfit monotone but not too dark.

Boots in this season you can’t go wrong, I love my Chelsea ones and honestly they go with everything so no problems there.
